Bubbling Blues
acrylic, tar and natural
earth on panel
Fabienne Quinsac has spent several years painting with tar mixed with other materials, and more and more with acrylic. The Bubbling Blues and Unlikely Waters is her last series of paintings that includes tar. "The shades of natural earth match successfully with tar, she explained to a journalist when she exhibited her work in september 2007 in Olivet. Blue freshen the work. White strengthens the contrasts."
